Where did you find this image? Is this used as a bunker or a home? I wonder what they were thinking when they decided to bury a school bus into the side of their house, I'll tell you what they weren't thinking about...and that is the resale value.

Kyle,

I hate to say this... but I got it in one of those horrible emails that floats around the office. I don't know where the photograph came from but the caption on this one was 'Redneck Storm Shelter'

See you in Boston. Sorry, you couldn't make it to Bar Louie.

nice............ I've known people who have lived in buses because of poor life decisions..... but this is something completely different.... deliberate.... innovative..."avant garde".....

If you are thinking to resale this bus-house, I'd suggest you to hire Underhill firm, to raise the value of the bus-house.

I ran accros this in a magazine several mounths ago. We can expect to see a lot of adaptation of vehicles for the permanent installation. Actually, in India they a have a proclivity to form as much out of metal as could be considered safe. In this country the free enterprise independence seems to favor but government tends to disallow. I think the governing factor, that we as architects must face is their must be a minimum threshold of construction which provides health and safety with economical application. How do you feel about the use?
